The Studio at Villa Pines

When Steve decided to buy a house in South West Florida he realized that he no longer had the studio resources of NYC at his disposal.  So he asked some very talented people to build him a studio in his home that would work for his personal needs.
Its a ProTools studio with a comfortable control room, great vocal booth and live room.  It was designed to be expanded as needed and he already has plans to add another larger live room. The studio is more of a private jet than a commercial airliner and that suits him fine.

Steve is currently sending drum tracks to other studios via the web. And band members (Mark Hitt, Larry Hobbs, Tommy Zvoncheck) are also available for on line sessions.

"We have a great list of vocalists in all styles available as well.  The options are endless."  Given the bandwidth available these days its a lot easier then it was 20 years ago when Steve began Drums-On-Line sending MIDI tracks all over the world.

Having the support of companies like Aphex, Wizard Ampification, DDrum, Dean Guitars, Zildjain, Remo, Vater Percussion, Rhythm Tech, Sonivox, Digidesign, Neumann and more keeps the studio current.
Since the studio is in his home, it is not offered commercially although people do come in to record all the time. Maybe there is a project in the future with you.  Reach out with any ideas.

  1. What type of sticks do you use?
I like to give as a gift to a friend.
    I don't have a clue.
I thought that there was only one type.
    Apparently not! :)
    Thank you!
